Stepping into the world of Britannica in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin (7DSO), you’ll meet countless unique Monsters that you can pet and ride on. To tame a Dusk Bison, just follow this simple guide.
How to Catch the Dusk Bison
To catch and tame the Bison as your pet, you will require a Potion of Charm, which is a craftable item in the workbench, and some combat tips to capture it with the charm.
Head to Ashu
Ashu is an NPC, a potion vendor in 7DSO, whom you’ll come across while venturing through Britannia, who offers you a quest line.
Head towards the location between the North of Werebear Camp and the West of the Giant Beetle red tree. Here, you’ll find Ashu, who will give you the quest on how to tame monsters and make them your pet.
Capture the Giant Bird
The first quest offered by Ashu is to catch the giant bird using Ashu’s Special Potion of Charm. The bird is present in very close vicinity. Turn right and head towards it.
Open up your inventory and, on equipping the charm, use it to Capture the Bird. With a purple glow, you will see that the bird has now become a collectible item.
Upon taking it, the first objective given by Ashu is done, and as a reward, you get a free Baby Giant Bird as your pet. On completing the quest, Ashu will provide you with the Potion recipes and the items required to cook the Faint Potion of Charm for free.
Make your own potion
Craft a work station nearby and make your own Faint Potion of Charm now that you have the Potion recipes.
On opening the menu below the HP recovering potion, you’ll find the Faint Potion of Charm recipe.
Craft as many as you can; you will need them for the hunt, and don’t forget to assign them in your quick slot menu!
Where to find the Bison
After crafting your own Faint Potion of Charms, Ashu will present you with his next quest and mark your map with the exact location to find the Dusk Bison. Open the Map to see the exact location.
The Hunt
Go over to the marked location following the quest marker, and you’ll find a herd of Bison grazing over the grass fields.
Without killing the bison, deal damage to weaken it, then open up your Quick slot menu and equip the Faint Potion of Charm and use it on the incapacitated Bison by aiming over it when the pink glowing circle appears.
The Bison will pause momentarily if you’ve done enough damage. The potion will work its magic; if not, try doing some more damage without killing the Bison, then use the potion to capture it.
Take the Totem
You have now officially captured the wild Dusk Bison as your own pet! Head over to the Dusk Bison totem, take the Domesticated Dusk Bison, and now you have yourself a fierce-looking pet!
To complete the quest, head back to the location where you met Ashu.
