One of the most anticipated games of the year, Crimson Desert by Pearl Abyss, is finally here! The game had enormous expectations since its announcement, and it certainly lives up to them with its profound gameplay, combat system, and the living, breathing continent of Pywel; even after its release, it still feels too good to be true, given the revolutionary nature of the game. Crimson Desert has a lot of intricate puzzles, and the first one you encounter is the ‘Abyss without Balance’ Puzzle. We will help you solve this puzzle in the guide.
Solve Abyss without Balance Puzzle in Crimson Desert

After stepping into the Abyss, which is quite a spectacle, you’ll be faced with tough puzzles that can be a bit overwhelming. But don’t worry; we will guide you through the Abyss so you can progress seamlessly. In this quest, you’ll have to get to the Heart of the Abyss. In this guide, we will provide you with all the information you need to solve every puzzle.
Road to the Heart
Right after you step out of the portal from the castle of Hernand into the Axiom Archive in the Abyss, you will be greeted with a large, closed building locked by mysterious forces. Step on the Abyss Nexus to activate it.

Open the Gate:
By pressing L3/L Hold on your controller/Tab on keyboard, use your Axiom Force to manipulate the objects and arrange them by moving them using the right joystick/ arrow keys in the following order. The gate to the Monolith will now be open.

Step into the Skybridge:
After the cutscene, upon exiting the monolith, you’ll come across the Skybridge gate. Walk through the gate and use your Axiom Force ability by pressing L3/L Hold/ Tab on the alignment Device and rotating it using the D-pad/ Arrow keys to operate the Bridge.

Cross the Bridge:
After the Bridge is assembled, make your way across to reach the teleporter, which will transfer you to the other side of the Abyss Nexus.

Restore Power:
After being teleported to the other half of the abyss, activate the Abyss Nexus.

Then march your way to The Power Grid. Here, you will have to restore the Power in the Abyss using your abilities.
Arrange the Cores:
To restore Abyss’s power supply, you need to remove the invisible floor. By using your Axiom Force(L3/L Hold/Tab), place the 2 floating Power Cores on the Deactivated Lanterns to light them up. This will dissolve the invisible floor above the Power Circuit.

Combine the Abyss Cell:
Beneath the floor, using your Axiom Force on the floating Abyss Cell, place it on the wall with its imprint. Here you’ll find a hologram, observe it to learn the Force Palm ability. By pressing R3/R Hold/middle mouse button, use the ability to synthesize the cell back to its place.

Activate Power Supply:
Climb your way back to the top of the floor and then climb on the giant Circle Power Supply. When you reach the centre, use the Force Palm(R3/R Hold/middlemouse button) to restore power supply in the Abyss.

Take the artifact:
Walk up to the path above the Power Supply and take the artifact. After the cut-scene plays out, you will receive the Wings as a quest reward from White Crow the Witch. Use them to get out of the Abyss back to Pywel. Congratulations on successfully making your way through the Abyss and its obstacles!
