Defrosting your car in My Winter Car can be difficult if you don’t know the right steps, especially when everything is covered in ice. If you’re struggling to see through frozen windows or just want to get on the road faster, this guide will tell you the process so you can warm up your car and clear the ice without any difficulty.
How To Defrost the Car

Open the door and get inside the vehicle. Look at the ignition, hover over it, and press once to insert the key and start the engine.
Once the engine is running, check the right side of the dashboard. You’ll see a square button for the Window Heater, press it, and a yellow light will turn on. Just below that is the Blower button. Press it twice to set the blower to its highest power.
You can adjust the temperature using the scroll button if needed, but it usually starts on the highest setting by default. Use the blower button first, then adjust the direction and temperature sliders to spread the heat where you want it. To do this, hold LMB and F together and gently move your mouse around. This method usually works for clearing heat across all the windows most of the time in the car.

While the heater is warming things up, you can make it faster by scraping the windows yourself. Step outside the car and hover your cursor over a window until you see a hand icon with the prompt “Scrape Window.”
Start at the top of the window, hold LMB, and scrape downward to remove the ice. Once you’ve cleared some ice from the windshield, start driving. As you move, the remaining windows will slowly begin to defrost on their own.
