How to Get Eevee – Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen

Eevee is one of the most valuable Pokémon in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen thanks to its multiple evolutions. Unlike wild encounters, Eevee is obtained as a special gift Pokémon in Celadon City. Here’s the complete step-by-step guide.

Where to Get Eevee

Step 1: Reach Celadon City

You will find the Eevee in Celadon City. To reach Celadon City from Lavender Town:

• Go West to Route 8.
• In the Top-Left corner of Route 8, you will find an underground path.
• Use said path and travel to its end.
• Exit the underground part, and you will reach Route 7.
• Go just a bit more east from Route 7 to reach Celadon City.

Step 2: Eevee Location

In Celadon City, locate the building specified on the map:

• It is the large building in the middle of the city.
• Go to the back of the building.
• Do not enter through the front door.

• Use the rear entrance to access the upper floors.
• Climb to the top floor using the stairs.
  

Step 3: Pick Up Eevee

On the top floor, you will find a room. 

• Enter the room
• There is a Poké Ball sitting on a table.
• Interact with it.
• You will receive Eevee (Level 25).

Can You Get More Than One Eevee?

In a single playthrough, you can only obtain one Eevee. If you want additional Eevee:

• Trade from another FireRed/LeafGreen copy
• Breed Eevee at the Day-Care on Four Island (after unlocking the Sevii Islands post-game)
  

Eevee Evolutions in FireRed & LeafGreen

Eevee evolves using Evolution Stones:

• Vaporeon – Use Water Stone
• Jolteon – Use Thunder Stone
• Flareon – Use Fire Stone

You can purchase these stones at the Celadon Department Store.

Note: Since FireRed and LeafGreen do not have a day and night system. Espeon and Umbreon are not obtainable in FireRed and LeafGreen without trading from Ruby, Sapphire or Emerald.
