In the brand new free-to-play, open-world anime RPG The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, set in the anime universe developed by Netmarble, while wandering amongst the green lushes and the medieval intricate structures of Britannia, if you’ve come across the “Under the surface” quest and need help to open the altar doors, just follow this comprehensive guide, and you’re good to go.
Solving the Door Puzzle

After opening the submerged gate and discovering the labyrinth-like cell, before reaching the altar gate, you’ll come across a door. Here, we have to use Tristan’s unique ability to control locus stones.
By pressing the G key on the highlighted rocks, you can lift them and put them inside their respective slots by rotating and aligning them using the A or D key.
Align the 3 rocks in the following order:
- Rotate the first rock to the right by pressing the D key, so that it forms an “L” shape, then insert it into the first cavity.

- Rotate the second rock to the left by pressing the A key; it should create this shape“⅂”(an inverted L). Place the second rock in the cavity.

- Take the third rock and align it in accordance with an I shape and place it in the cavity.

- By aligning them properly, you have unlocked the first door!

Opening the Altar Door
Upon entering the neon-lit room, you’ll come across a giant stone gate with a glowing stone. If you look closely, you’ll find another Locus Stone, which can be controlled by Tristan by pressing G.
- Just like the preceding step, carry the Locus stone to one of the Pressure Plates before the gate, then place the stone on top of it by right clicking the mouse.

- Walk towards the Second plate, then stand on top of it.

- Voila, you’ve opened the altar gate, which leads you towards a battered grotto, continuing the quest.
