Starting the Sorbet in My Winter Car can be difficult in freezing weather. While the car is generally reliable, cold temperatures make it hard to get the engine going, and the battery can run out if you keep trying for too long. In this guide, we will show you how to start the Sorbet, so you can get on the road.
How to Start the Sorbet
The Sorbet is usually a very reliable car, and you don’t really have to worry about engine maintenance. The main issue comes during extremely cold weather, where starting the engine can be a real struggle. If you keep cranking it for too long, the battery can also run out.
To make things easier, it’s a good idea to plug the car into a block heater. This warms up the engine block and oil before you start, helping the engine turn over more smoothly and reducing the chance of draining the battery.

The colder it is outside, the harder the Sorbent is to start. Trying to start it late at night in extreme cold will always be tougher.
- Pull the choke all the way out. You’ll find it on the dashboard. Just left-click and pull it fully.
- Turn the electrics on. Insert the key and turn it until the electrics come on, but don’t start the engine yet.
- Turn off power-draining features. Make sure the window heater is OFF (if the light is on, it’s active). Turn the blower fan OFF as well.
- Start the engine properly. Now turn the key to start the engine while pumping the accelerator pedal repeatedly. Don’t hold it down, just press and release over and over.
After a few moments, you should hear the engine catch and start. Push the choke back in slowly once the car has warmed up. If you don’t do this, the engine is more likely to stall.
