Are you a fan of Japanese sword making like me ? If yes, well then today I will guide you on finding the Hwando Katana which is a Level 19 weapon. And while we are at it, I’ve found the Dark Ringleader’s Armor set, I will also guide you on Where to find the armor set.
Where to Find the Hwando Katana
Make your way to the Lioncrest Manor. Once you’ve reached the manor, you will be able to see that there is a guest manor to the west of the Lioncrest Manor.
Make your way inside the guest manor through the window which is at the left side of the guest manor.
Once you enter the manor through the window you will see a door to your right, the door is locked but can be opened using a key that can be bought from a Back Alley Shop.
Where to Find Back Alley Shop
If you have followed my previous guide on Hernand Stronghold locations, you must know where to get the key. For those who haven’t, don’t worry as I’m gonna show you where to get the key.
Go to the location shown in the above picture and look for the person in the second picture. You can buy the key from this merchant and use it for opening locked doors, you can buy the max amount of keys as they will be useful for opening locked doors anywhere in the World of Pywel.
After you’ve opened the door, there’s a treasure chest to your left, open it and you will receive Hwando Katana.
Where to Find the Dark Ringleader’s Armor Set
If you’ve reached The Witchwoods area then you are in luck because The Dark Ringleader’s Armor set can be found inside caves behind the waterfalls that are located in the surroundings of The Witchwood.
If you haven’t reached the witchwood yet, don’t worry it’s due southwest of hernand not too far away.
Throughout this guide, always look for the stone structure near the waterfalls as this is an indication of the point of entry inside the waterfalls. Nevertheless you can’t just stroll inside the waterfall, because the currents are not gonna allow you inside and also take little amount of subsequent damage. To gain entry inside the waterfalls, you are gonna have to use Thrust skill standing near the waterfalls, doing this you gain entry inside and have to do the same to get out of the cave.
Dark Ringleader’s Armor Set Locations
Hidden throughout The Witchwood region are the four pieces of armor that complete the Dark Ringleader’s Set. I’ve marked the locations of the waterfalls on the above map, look for waterfalls which have the stone structure.
While each piece is located at a different location, the method to get them is the same. Get closer to the waterfall (not too close, about a step distance) and use the Thrust skill, it will land you inside the waterfall. Progress the path inside and eventually you will reach the treasure box, open it and you will receive Dark Ringleader’s Armor Item.
Location 1: Will grant you Dark Ringleader’s Cloth Gloves
Location 2: This will fetch you Dark Ringleader’s Cloth Helm
Location 3: You will receive Dark Ringleader’s Cloth Armor
Location 4: The final piece is Dark Ringleader’s Cloth Cloak
With this, you now have Hwando Katana and Dark Ringleader’s Armor set. Which is a great addition to your inventory. Let’s meet again in the next guide.
