Highlight of everything we know about the Northern Area of StarRupture.

    • In StarRupture, the Northern area is a dangerous place with a lot of enemies, making it very difficult to travel without proper gear.
    • In the Northern area, you will find the stabiliser blueprint, which will unlock high-tier crafting and help progression in the game.
    • This area has a lot of notes, foods, bodies, and other useful resources which you can collect and use to progress the game.

The Northern Area in StarRupture is one of the first dangerous areas you will explore. This is the area where you will find the Stabiliser Blueprint, an important item needed to unlock higher-tier crafting. Along the way, you will face infected enemies, dangerous environments, and new enemies. In this guide, we will tell you where to find the Stabiliser Blueprint and how to craft and use it to move forward in the game.

    What’s in the Northern Area

When you are exploring near your orbital lander, you will get to know that you need the stabiliser blueprint. For that go towards the northern area to find it. When you reach the area, you will find infected creatures and nests. There will be a lot of bugs and enemies that you need to kill before moving forward. You need to carry a lot of ammo as waves of enemies will be coming towards you. This is a dangerous area; you will also find bodies, ammo, notes, and food all over the area.

Since this area is a bit far from your starting point, you need to build a temporary base nearby to store loot, craft ammo, and survive the Rupture. In the northern area, you will find sulfur fields that can deal corrosion damage to you, and caves that are full of crystals that appear only during the Rupture. There are also radiation zones that will not allow you to enter the area and will kill you instantly until you get better gear.

A new kind of enemy is introduced in this area, which is known as long-range mortar enemies. You need to hear their explosion as they will attack you from a long range. Kill them beforehand, so that they can not deal damage to you.

    Stabiliser Blueprint in StarRupture

You will need the Stabiliser Blueprint in StarRupture for higher-tier crafting, orbital and research progression, access to tougher zones like radiation areas and advanced-based structures and materials. Without the stabiliser blueprint, you will not be able to progress further in the game.

Where to Find the Stabiliser Blueprint

The Stabiliser Blueprint is located inside an output which is filled with infected enemies and nests. Before you reach the area, craft extra ammo and carry food and healing items. You also need to build a temporary base and save your game.

Once you reach the area, enemies will attack you from every side. You need to first destroy the infected nest to stop the spawns and use cover and reload frequently. If you see enemies coming continuously towards you, there will be a nest nearby that you need to destroy first.

After you have cleared the area, enter the main building in front of you and loot ammo, food, notes, and bodies. You need to check both the ground floor and the upper floors. To find the blueprints, climb up the tower by using platforms and ledges. Be careful, as there will be enemies hiding above you. In the top section of the tower, search for a blue container for the Stabiliser Blueprint.

Return to your temporary base, as the base will protect you from the Rupture event. After the Rupture event, mine the crystals inside the cave, as you will need these crystals for advanced crafting items.

    How to Craft the Stabiliser

To craft the stabiliser, open the fabricator. Then select the stabiliser and install it into the required system. This will unlock the advanced materials and progression paths. After crafting the stabiliser, unlock larger habitats and storage upgrades, and prepare for the radiation zones and risky facilities.
